PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY JUNIOR PROGRAMS
The junior programs will be led by Phil Bowers, PGA. Phil led the junior golf program at Mt Vernon CC during his tenure there and is a former chair of the MAPGA Junior Golf Committee. Phil spent the previous 10 years teaching for GOLFTEC, the largest golf instruction company in the country. Phil looks forward to bringing his expertise to the junior golfers at Prince William GC.

PGA JUNIOR LEAGUE
PGA JLG is designed to bring a “Little League” atmosphere to the game of golf. With teams of boys and girls, age 13 and under and 17 and under, PGAJL provides a structured league environment for young golfers to compete and have fun! This is a great way to get, and keep, kids involved in the game!
League is scheduled to begin in September (weather permitting).
Total Cost: $309 – Includes $110 PGA 2025 League Game Changer Fee, which is good for both spring and fall seasons + $199 Facility Fee!

PGA JUNIOR GOLF CAMPS (COMING 2026)
Prince William Golf Course is excited to be hosting the only PGA Golf Camps in Northern Virginia. PGA Camps are offered nationwide with a proven track record of success.
Full Day & Half Day sessions will be offered.

JUNIOR ACADEMY
The Prince William Junior Academy offers golf instruction for every skill level. Sessions are available in 4 and 8 session packages.

DEVELOPMENTAL LEVEL
The Developmental Program is designed for new or inexperienced juniors (ages 6-11) looking to gain the fundamentals of the golf swing, putting, and chipping. You may attend any scheduled session. You will need to register online for the sessions you would like to attend.
Each session will include:
• One hour of instruction
• Fundamentals in the full swing and putting
• Understanding golf etiquette, safety, care for the course, & basic golf terms
Golf clubs provided in necessary. Practice balls provided.
Program Packages
• 4-sessions: $85
• 8-sessions: $155
PERFORMANCE LEVEL
The Performance Program is designed for juniors that have had at least four sessions of the Developmental Program or have previous instruction/golf experience. Ages 7-16. You may attend any scheduled session. You will need to register for each session you plan to attend.
Every session will include:
• Each session will be 60 minutes.
• Instruction in Full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, and bunkers.
• Introduction to basic rules, golf course care, etiquette, safety, basic golf terms.
• Introducing the players to the golf course and managing a few golf holes.
Golf clubs provided if necessary. Practice balls provided.
Program Packages

• 8-sessions: $225
LEARN AND PLAY
This program is designed for the junior golfer ready to progress from the practice facility to the golf course. Participants must have completed at least 4 sessions of the Performance Program, have participated in our Home School Program, or have had previous golf experience and show a proficiency of the fundamentals of golf.
Each session will include:
• 2 hours of instruction/golf course time
• More advanced instruction on the fundamentals
• Learning how to get around the golf course and common terms used while playing
• Facility rules and golf etiquette
• Understanding pace of play guidelines and care for the course
• Range balls provided prior to playing
• Small playing groups with an instructor guiding the way

THE FIRST TEE OF PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY
The First Tee is an international youth development organization introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Through after school and in school programs, we help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf. And it’s making a difference.
Our First Tee programs are offered at all of the Prince William County golf courses.

Golf Round Benefits:
