Glen Oaks Golf Club – History<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Glen Oaks Golf Club was established in 1967. The architect, owner, and operator for over 40 years was Bill McRee, a native of Maiden, NC. The original 9 holes was built on the farm of his father, Glen McRee, for whom the course was named.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bill McRee passed away on 11 July 2007. His legacy continues, with memorials in the clubhouse foyer and on the first tee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
