Glen Oaks Golf Club – History
Glen Oaks Golf Club was established in 1967. The architect, owner, and operator for over 40 years was Bill McRee, a native of Maiden, NC. The original 9 holes was built on the farm of his father, Glen McRee, for whom the course was named.
Bill McRee passed away on 11 July 2007. His legacy continues, with memorials in the clubhouse foyer and on the first tee.
The Course
The golf course is a beautiful collection of diverse and challenging holes, with tees for any skill level. Ratings for Glen Oaks Golf Club consistently rank high for amenities, scenery, maintenance, and value.
