This role may also serve as a bartender\/server in the clubhouse as needed. Position duties include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COMPENSATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>$10.62 per hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Loads and unloads beverage cart daily.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Does daily inventory of all products, both food and beverage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeps bev cart in clean and in good working order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dispenses drinks to golfers either from the bev cart or from behind the bar in the club house<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assure that all drinks are accounted for and monies are collected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serves customers promptly and courteously<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Observes and enforces all local, state and federal liquor laws.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protects course from liability and image with regards to serving intoxicated persons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accounts for all receipts and makes deposit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have good customer service skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to work nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays if needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-motivated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a flexible summer schedule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to work at least 20-24 hours per week.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to work 8-12hr shifts some days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bartender or serving experience preferred but not required, we will train!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>EXPERIENCE \/ BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be at least 18 years of age for bartender\/server. (21+ years of age for beverage cart)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a valid driver&#8217;s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work performed is physical in nature and requires sufficient stamina and strength to:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Frequent step up\/down and to safely operate and enter and exit golf carts and vehicles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Occasional lifting of up to fifty (40) pounds from floor to chest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with point of sale systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>BENEFITS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discounts on apparel and golf equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discounts on employee meals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Playing and practice privileges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commonground Golf Course is looking for a few more members to add to the grounds crew for the 2022 season. We are looking for full time seasonal employees who work roughly 40 hours a week and part time employees to work the morning shifts, typically around 20-25 hours a week. This position works Monday-Friday and every other weekend. No prior golf course maintenance experience required.
