They represent and uphold the high-quality standards the facility represents and must present a professional image at all times. This position is a key player in controlling the flow of information to our customers and guests. They are expected to be knowledgeable about all elements of the golf operation and can serve as a resource for the entire staff. Position duties include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COMPENSATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>$15 to $16 per hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain an active understanding of the overall golf operation, communication systems, procedures, goals and objectives of CommonGround.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a working knowledge of policies and procedures and actively enforce them according to established guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Answer all incoming phone calls, serving as the primary point of contact for the facility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check in and book tee times for customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actively promote the use of caddies for rounds of golf.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be an active participant in merchandise sales, helping customers purchase stock items or place special orders for product not available in the golf shop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in the receipt and display of merchandise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage and assist starters and outside service staff with their responsibilities as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow daily cash register and cash handling protocols.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain a clean working environment. This includes re-organizing or re-stocking merchandise, wiping down surfaces, taking out trash and cleaning primary restrooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effectively communicate with the outside operations to help manage play.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay informed of all daily activities and course promotions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist the F&amp;B operation with the delivery of food and drink items to the golf course when needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with the setup and execution of a league play and tournaments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, POS Systems, and Electronic Tee Sheets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays if needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interested in golf or golf retail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-motivated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Great people skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>EXPERIENCE \/ BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver&#8217;s license.<br>Previous experience in a golf related service position is preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commonground Golf Course is looking for a few more members to add to the grounds crew for the 2022 season. We are looking for full time seasonal employees who work roughly 40 hours a week and part time employees to work the morning shifts, typically around 20-25 hours a week. This position works Monday-Friday and every other weekend. No prior golf course maintenance experience required.
