The Golf Club at Dove Mountain was founded in 2009 and was originally part of The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain resort. Today the club has a private membership and is open to resort guests and limited public access. The club has three nines — Saguaro, Tortolita, and Wild Burro – all designed by Jack Nicklaus and part of his signature collection of prestige properties.
The Club is a certified Audubon Sanctuary and has received numerous awards for design. The Club has an expansive 13-acre practice facility. Several of the Club’s holes are at an elevation of 3,000 feet, creating amazing views of the valley below. The mountainous backdrop gives a unique setting unusual for a desert course in Arizona.

The Clubhouse is 45,000 square feet and was built to the same standards as The Ritz-Carlton next door. It contains Caytons, staffed by The Ritz-Carlton. The Club offers indoor and outdoor dining and a private members-only bar and grill. The Clubhouse won a 2009 architectural design award and won Golfweek’s Best Resort Course in 2012. The WGC Accenture Match Play was hosted by the Club for several years.
In addition to the 27 holes at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain, the Icon 63 Membership incorporates the 36 holes of the adjacent Gallery Golf Club, membership privileges at four other private clubs across the country, and a full annual calendar of luxury golf and lifestyle travel through Icon Golf’s Experiences and Quests.
