2023 PGA Junior League<\/mark> <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Springfield Park District is excited to once again offer a PGA Jr League program in 2023!  We hope to have 4 teams with up to 12 players per team!

PGA Jr. League is a game-changing opportunity for boys and girls to learn and play golf. The program brings family and friends together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PGA Jr. League is all about the recreational and developmental nature of regular season supervised practices and matches, held between May 1 and July 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the course of one game, teams play four 9-hole matches in a popular two-person scramble format, reinforcing the team concept and creating a nurturing environment for learning the game. Coaches can also substitute players every three holes, so that all of the golfers on each team can participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PGA Jr. League is open to both boys and girls of all abilities ages 6-13!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 Pasfield Summer Junior Golf League<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Springfield Park District Pasfield Junior Golf League is an 8 week program that runs from June through early August that provides junior golfers ages 8-14 the opportunity to play in a weekly organized 9-hole golf league with various formats of play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ages 8-14 at Pasfield G.C. on Fridays with tee times from 10:30-12:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost for the league is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pasfield = $100.00 ($20.00 registration fee + 8 green fees @ $10.00 each)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each golfer that registers will receive an 8 round punch card that can be used any weekday (in case they miss a day of junior league).  Jr. golfers that have a season pass at Pasfield Golf Course will only be required to pay the $20.00 registration fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 Junior Golf Camps<\/mark><\/strong>
Ages 6-13<\/small><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Springfield Park District Junior Golf Camps consist of 9 hours of instruction by PGA Professionals that will cover all facets of golf including etiquette, Rules of Golf, putting, chipping, and full swing instruction.  Kids will also have an opportunity to play in a scramble format. (Amount of time on the course varies by age.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
