Country Club of the North<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Club was founded in 1993 and is part of a master planned community of upscale luxury homes. The club is located in Xenia, Ohio. Xenia has a rich heritage dating back to 1803.

The center piece of the development is a Nicklaus Signature golf course one of only three Nicklaus Signature designed golf courses in Ohio. Jack personally designed the course and hit the opening tee shot during the clubs grand opening. The course is truly a championship venue as evidenced by eight LPGA championships which were staged at The Country Club of the North<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

From 1994 until 2001 the eight championships included The Children’s Medical Center LPGA Classic, The Firestar LPGA Classic, The Star Bank LPGA Classic and the LPGA Champions Classic, winners include Hall of Fame players Meg Mallon, Laura Davies and Annika Sorenstam to name just a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Club also hosted The Celebrities Golf Classic from 2002-2004. The 72 hole event had two parts a 36 hole pro am event with 60 celebrities and a 36 hole celebrities only event. Hall of Fame basketball players Charles Barkley and George Gervin were among the participants as well as baseball hall of fame players Johnny Bench and Mike Schmidt. They were also joined by celebrity artists like Hootie and the Blowfish.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>

Along with the Jack Nicklaus designed eighteen hole golf course gem is the clubs contemporary 55,000 square foot clubhouse which has recently been renovated. The clubhouse overlooks the Little Miami River with majestic views of the course.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The club is designed to host events of all kinds with a large veranda, ball room, outdoor patio, wine room, Fireside room and members bar and grill. The club also has a state of the art fitness center, pool, tennis courts and member wine lockers are available to house a members personal wine inventory. Both the mens and ladies locker rooms are well appointed with large sized custom lockers providing full service amenities.The club has received multiple awards and has been chosen the number one wedding venue in the Miami Valley providing the ultimate in culinary excellence.<\/p>\n<\/div>
