Old Fold is marvellous for weddings because of the setting (which offers so many opportunities for glamorous photographs), the eye-catching and comfortable interior, spacious patio, super catering, fuss-free (and cost-free) parking, and easy accessibility.
It’s all relaxed and romantic, and our excellent and experienced staff will make everyone feel special with their outstanding service.
Importantly, too, our Meetings and Events team take great pride in making sure that your day goes without a hitch. They will work with you from your initial enquiry, right through to liaising with you on the day so that your perfect day really is perfect.
Function Rooms
You can select from two beautifully appointed function rooms, according to the size of your event. And they can both be set up in the style of your choice.
MAIN BAR & RESTAURANT AREA
The main bar and restaurant area will accommodate up to 108 guests for a full, four course, banquet or fork buffet. If you prefer a finger buffet, it can accommodate up to 120 guests.
FOR A MORE INTIMATE WEDDING – THE MANOR ROOM
The Manor Room is a striking and intimate setting for up to 60 guests, seated in 12s on round tables. It also has a dance floor but, if you wish to use this, the number of guests is reduced to a maximum of 36.
Equipment & Services
DISPLAY
You can display video and/or photographs of your ceremony, etc. Both our function rooms have 42” TVs with HDMI interfaces for laptop connection.
ROOM LAYOUT
You can have your tables set out whatever configuration you wish (always bearing in mind that waiters will need comfortable access). And, of course, we can provide additional tables for the wedding cake and presents.
On arrival
You can have a separate reception drinks table set up for your guests, if you wish with options from the below:
- Champagne
- Bucks Fizz (Champagne and Orange Juice)
- Prosecco
- Bucks Fizz made with Prosecco
- Pimms (garnished with fruits and mint)
BAR
You and your guests will be able to obtain a wide range of familiar alcoholic and soft drinks from our well-stocked bar throughout your event.
However, if there is something outside our stock that you would like to offer, just let us know in advance. We can also run a bar tab for you – either for the entire event or up to a pre-agreed amount.
WINE
Again, we have a comprehensive wine list but if you would like to offer something that is not on the list, just let us know.
CATERING
Our chef and his team are expert in catering for wedding receptions, and they will produce the menu that you seek. Costs obviously depend on your specific choices with menus to cater to your needs:
- 3 course wedding breakfast
- Knife and fork buffet
- Finger buffet
- Evening light buffet
