Old Fold Manor is one of the best private members course in Hertfordshire.
It was designed by one of the greatest golf course architects of all time - Harry Colt. His design philosophy helped to shape Augusta National, too, so it’s not surprising that Old Fold is famous for its greens.
Colt was also famous for bringing a seaside links feel to inland courses so, you’ll find a few extra challenges here. These are some of the reasons why Old Fold held Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship from 2005-2010.

About Us
Our course is 6,500 yards, par 71, and it demands your concentration all the way. Originally open heathland; it now has many tree-lined fairways that make the wind direction even less predictable. It also retains the undulations and unpredictability of bounce so typical of Harry Colt designs, which bring the charm and challenge of seaside links to his inland courses. The best feature of all, maybe, are our greens; among the quickest and trickiest in the county.
