Our annual golf outing was started in 2010 to honor our nation’s Wounded Warriors. In 2016 we changed our focus to assist local Vets in the South Jersey area who have served, and ROTC candidates who are our future.
This year’s golf outing honors Scott Cronick, Director of Entertainment Publications for the Press of Atlantic City and host of the Off the Press on Newstalk 1400-AM WOND, 92.3 FM. He has helped raise money for various Veterans organizations, often promotes Veterans charities and events through his media platforms and, in particular, helped locate homeless veterans to assist them with housing and sober programs in Atlantic County while raising funds and donations to furnish those apartments.
TOFV provides for our South Jersey Vets, including the Veteran’s Home in Vineland and Meadowview Nursing Home in Northfield. In addition, scholarships are awarded to children.
