Weekly Schedule
Unless specified below, the Restaurant, Pro Shop and Golf Course are open to both members and the general public every day, weather permitting. Please keep in mind that this is a general outline of activities during the week, subject to change as applicable.
Monday
The Golf Course is open, however, morning play may be restricted to accommodate scheduled golf outings (please see the EPGC website for posted outings). May through August, the EPGC Men’s League has priority on either #1 or #10 tee at 4:00pm., alternating nines each week. The EPGC Men’s League has the opportunity to close the course for special events. The EPGC Junior Golf Program is conducted on Monday morning’s beginning in June.
Tuesday
EPGC Ladies League Play Day: May through September, #1 tee will be reserved for morning EPGC Ladies League play from 7:00am – 10:00am. May through August, #1 tee will be reserved for the EPGC Evening Ladies League play from 3:30pm – 6:00pm. (Note: the EPGC Evening Ladies League play starts on the back nine on the last Tuesday of each month). Both morning and evening league play will have the opportunity to close the course for special events.
Wednesday
May through September, the #1 tee will be reserved for morning EPGC Couples League play from 8:00am – 9:00am. Play may be restricted at times to accommodate scheduled golf outings (please see the EPGC website for posted outings).
Thursday
EPGC Men’s Play Day: From May through September, #1 tee will be reserved from 10:00am – 5:30pm for EPGC Men’s Play Day. EPGC Men’s Play Day will have the opportunity to close the course for special events.
Friday
No regularly scheduled EPGC club events are scheduled. Play may be restricted at times to accommodate smaller golf outings (please see the EPGC website for posted outings). A Guys and Dolls tee time event is available once a month during evening play.
Saturday
No regularly scheduled EPGC club events are scheduled. Special club events or small group outings may be held once a month.
Sunday & Holidays
MEMBERS ONLY and their guests can play on Sunday and Holidays. This is in force for the entire year. Members may bring as many guests as they desire as long as the guest(s) play in the same foursome as a member. Please note: Guests & Class “E” members may play up to a total of four (4) Sundays and Holidays per calendar year with a member. Individuals on the waiting list are not restricted to this number.
Dress Code
El Paso Golf Club is a spike-less, non-metallic golf shoe facility. Metal spikes are not allowed on the golf course or in the clubhouse. Men may not wear muscle style shirts (tank tops). Ladies may not wear halter tops, spaghetti string tank tops or strapless tops. All men’s & ladies shorts must have a hem (no cutoff shorts).
Golf Carts
- Golfers may rent power or pull carts in the pro shop. Members may use their own carts provided they have paid a trail or shed fee.
- Cart fees are for the number of holes charged initially when you check in. Any additional use of the carts or course must be paid in advance at the golf shop.
- No one under the age of 16 will be permitted to rent or operate power golf carts.
- Cart Abuse: Cart usage must be in keeping with our policy to protect the golf course. Please keep carts 30 feet from the greens and tees, on paths when possible, and off the slopes at all times. Avoid wet areas. Violators of the cart abuse guidelines may be removed from the course.
- Only two riders and two sets of clubs per cart.
Course Rules
- All players must be registered in the pro shop. Play must originate from the first tee unless modified by the golf shop.
- Practice is allowed in designated areas only, not on the golf course proper.
- All divots and ball marks must be repaired.
- Only food and beverages purchased from the club may be taken on the course.
- Limited lunch items may be ordered at the ninth tee for pick up at the turn.
- Management reserves the right to refuse service when it is in the club’s or customer’s best interest.
Speed of Play
- Players should complete their 18-hole rounds in four hours.
- It is the responsibility of each group to keep pace with the group ahead. If your group falls one complete hole behind the group ahead, you must allow the following group to play through.
- It is each group’s responsibility to be observant of its position on the course and to keep pace.
- It is also the responsibility of all groups to kindly advise less observant groups, if the pace of play is adversely affected by them.
- Players unable to keep pace may be removed from the course.
- Repeated violations of slow pace guidelines could result in restricted ability to make reservations.
